books for pilots, student pilots, and future pilots... I found these helpful and I believe you will too.

A good all-around book on the Cessna 172. A good all-around book on the Cessna 150 & 152. The pilot's bible. (For United States airspace and pilots.)
Another good buyer's guide. A classic book on the art of flying. An excellent reference guide. This book has helped me enormously.
Learn from others' mistakes so that you don't make the same ones. The premiere reference book for identifying aircraft. We can all get tongue-tied on the radio. This book will make you sound like a pro.
If you buy nothing else, get this set of books. They are the best guides I've read for improving one's pilot skills.
